Aby Varma serves as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Co-head of the AI Council at Shapiro Negotiations Institute, where he leads strategic AI initiatives across the organization and the marketing team.
He is also the founder of Spark Novus, advising business leaders across industries on applying AI to increase efficiency, unlock innovation, and deliver measurable impact.
As a keynote speaker, Aby shares practical insights on AI adoption and its implications for the future of work, strategy, and leadership, speaking regularly at industry conferences, executive briefings, and corporate events. In addition to speaking, he hosts an AI podcast and leads an AI professional community focused on real world applications of AI.
Personal
Outside of his core work, Aby is a member of the Forbes Communication Council, where he writes on AI, strategy, and business transformation.
Passionate about giving back, he also serves as Head of Marketing for TEDxAtlanta, supporting ideas that inspire change.
Aby is a foodie and enjoys travelling, music, and dad jokes. He is a firm believer in the power of kindness and the profound impact it can have on people and teams. Aby lives in Atlanta with his wife and two sons.
Education
Aby holds an MBA in Management Information Systems from Alabama A&M University, a Masters in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Delhi University.
