MIMI AZOUBEL DANIEL

Mimi brings her unique experience as a manager, teacher, negotiator and coach.

After graduating from Dickinson College (PA), Mimi began her 15-year career in advertising as a Media Negotiator. She soon became the Vice President of Media Services negotiating multi-million dollar deals with the national media to create the most lucrative media exposure packages for her clients. She specialized in new business presentations, unique media strategy negotiations, market research and strategic planning. As a VP, she honed her training and management skills developing a formal training program and manual for media buyers and assistants. Clients included Strayer University, Phillips Publishing, Allfirst Bank, ARK Mutual Funds, e-centives, Little Me Infantwear, Woolrich, Ltd., Cole-Haan, Sears, Dayton-Hudson Corp., Target, Mervyn’s, Western Auto, 20th Century Fox Home Video, MCA/Universal Home Video, MGM/UA Home Video, Elektra Records and Capitol Records.

Mimi’s personal and professional experience has provided a strong foundation for working with people and given her valuable insights into the dynamics it takes to make interpersonal relationships work, both personally and professionally. In 2003, she became a Certified Life Coach specializing in Relationship Coaching. She is the President and founder of XY Outlook, Inc., a coaching practice in Baltimore, Maryland. Specifically, Mimi works with individual, joint or corporate clients, helping them find common goals, identify core conflicts, diffuse button-pushing and negotiate winning situations. On a personal level, Mimi coaches clients on individual issues as they relate to marriage, pre-marital preparation, parent/child, blended family and other life issues. She currently conducts The “Y” Workshop, a contemporary pre-marital preparation class which focuses on the perceptions and expectations within marriage.

Mimi has a Masters of Science in Business degree from the Johns Hopkins University where she became an Adjunct Professor for the School of Continuing Studies.

Mimi lives in Baltimore, MD with her husband and their three children.
